Sue Carter – Practice/Payroll Manager

Sue Carter

Sue officially joined the Allman Johnson team in September of 2011. She serves as our Practice/Payroll Manager and is not only responsible for internal operations, human resources, firm accounting, and client bookkeeping, but she also provides payroll services and guidance which includes on-boarding payroll clients, processing payroll, and keeping clients up to date and compliant with payroll rules and regulations. Prior to joining the firm, Sue worked in the banking industry for over 14 years. Sue always enjoyed accounting and enjoys working and helping clients. She has taken several accounting and tax courses through Ivy Tech and is currently pursuing her degree in accounting. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the American Payroll Association. When Sue is not at work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family. Although her children are adults, her two grandchildren make sure she doesn’t forget what it feels like to have kids around and Sue wouldn’t have it any other way.
